Default Halloween Flicks

lo all....well 'tis the season again. my how time flys. since the halloween season is quickly closing in upon us, i was wondering if any of you are horror/scary movie buffs? and what scary movies will you be watching this halloween?

if you like the home video style of blair witch, then quarantine is a must see. that movie is intense!

devils night however i think i might be watching halloween 1 and 2 back to back. they go together seamlessly.

so what tickles your fancies?

Hmm, I'm not much into scary movies.

I do like Underworld, which is considered ''horror'' accordingly, but yeah. I heard quarantine was actually crappy? I was told the ending was lame, kind of like Cloverfield.

Default The Changeling

The Changeling 1980
The Changeling 2008

Thought this would be a nice for this holloween, a 2008 movie with the same name but not the same story as one made in 1980. (but not sure, could be the same one, remake)

I've seen the one in 1980 and it was one of the best (meaning it gives a chill down/up my spine) horror movie in my opinion, a scene with a simple ball bouncing could scare you is pretty good in my opinion, the movie must have been told quite well, building up to that scene.

And the 2008 one, simply because Angelina Jolie is in it hooray! and directed by one of my favourite director/actor Clint Eastwood

<3 Underworld, but I saw it as a gothic love story not a horror. Ringu FTW

Yes, take any titles of the recent J-horror remakes by Hollywood and go watch the originals, subbed not dubbed.

My local Best Buy recently had about 20 horror flicks on sale for $5/ea. I bought Friday the 13th (why I waited so long to buy that, I'll never know) and Children of the Corn. I might go back and pick up American Psycho, but other than that, there were really no other good movies to pick from. I'm gonna watch them whenever I get a few free hours. Anyway, my top 3:

1) The Exorcist

2) The Shining

3) Sleepaway Camp (ending scene made me lose about 30 hours of sleep)
